Manufacturer model, such as 801C, X26P, APX 6000, or 17 Gen 5.

Bulk = counts. Serialized = one record per serial.

Use private categories for approved personally owned firearms.

Private firearms remain searchable for qualification and maintenance history, but reports can filter them away from agency-owned inventory.

SKU groups products. Serial numbers identify individual physical items.
